This is my twelfth year of teaching and seventh year at Westlake high school! I love to work with students and I consider myself as a life-long learner. My husband, Christopher, and I have two children, Lindsay and Ethan who are attending Westlake high and Hill Country middle school. We have a goldfish (Goldie) and a cat (Shadow), and enjoy dancing, playing music, and traveling together. Also in our classroom, we have a betta fish, James Pond.
I am excited to teach AP Statistics this year; we will do lots of critical thinking and analytic writing together.
Throughout the AP statistics course, we will work and study together to answer the questions like, "How reliable are the headlines we hear in the news?" and "How can we use a sample to draw a conclusion about a population?"
We will refine our critical/logical thinking skills/process and pay attention to detail information that we encounter during our problem solving journey.
I am looking forward to having another great year with you.
Go Chaps!
